Imphal, March 03 2012: The 30 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (S) donated two Sintex water tanks of 2000 litres capacity to Local Primary School at Waiton of Imphal East District today.

The water tank was donated to the School authority in a simple ceremony organised at school premises with an aim to help in meeting the needs of the children of Local Primary School, Waiton who face problems during school hours due to non-availability of water in the school, especially during the upcoming summer months, according to a press release of PRO IGAR (S) .
