Imphal, September 02 2018: United Committee Manipur (UCM) along with Apunba Nupi Lup and Chaokhat Thourang Kanglup (CTK) organised a sit in protest at Thouda Bhabok Leikai today, against ethnic based policies.

Speaking to media persons, one of the women, Laishram (o) Gyanpati said that extension of Article 371A to the State is against the will of the people of Manipur and added that the people will always support the UCM.

Similar protest was also held at Yumjao Lairembi community hall (Waheng Leikai), Meino Leirak Machin, Sagolband Moirang Leirak Machin, Mabudhou Mantri Maning Leikai Leirak Machin, Sagolband Thangjam Leirak.
