Imphal, September 01 2014: A one day awareness programme on Consumer Rights was organized by Consumers' Club Manipur at GP Women's College here today with P Arunkumar, president of Consumers' Club Manipur and Y Chandraskhi, principal of GP Women's College attending as President and Guest of Honor respectively.

Speaking on the occasion as a Resource Person, G Tomba, former principal of DM College of Science, said that one should be cautious while consuming eatable items packed in plastic as they can be hazardous to health especially those made in Myanmar comes with words of date of manufacture and expiry in their language.

Dr Ch Narendra, former president of District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum and Irengbam Arun, senior journalist also spoke during the occasion as Resource Persons.
