48 hr Bandh called

Imphal, October 31 2014 : A 48 hour Bandh on National Highway 102 has been called by the Land Owners Association of 44 Yaithibi Loukon, Thoubal District beginning 6 pm on November 5, said a release of the Association.

The announcement was made in demand for review of the proposal for building Sports University in the Yaithibi Loukon at Thoubal district.

In a meeting held at the office of the Association, people from Sora, Koijam, Langthabal, Yaithibi and Laicing areas jointly took the decision protesting against unattended request from the Assosiation.

However the Bandh will be relaxed for students and other religious activities, added the release.
