Imphal, November 29 2012: As part of rehabilitation effort, a library is being set up at Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa as a correctional aid for the jail inmates.

According to a statement issued by IK Muivah, SP of Manipur Central Jail, the library at the jail is being set up under the direction of ADG (Prisons) MK Das.

It further invited altruistic individuals to donate reading materials such as religious books, inspirational books, GK, magazines, comics etc in all languages for the reformation of the jail inmates.

Donors may either send by post or hand over the reading material to Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa, Khabeisoi-795114 or at Manipur Central Jail, Imphal-795001 .

Materials would be duly acknowledged.
