Imphal, November 26 2013: The proscribed RPF has claimed that the bomb attack which targeted a foot patrol party of 6/8 Gorkha Regiment near Kiyamba Sanglen, Bishnupur Bazar this morning was carried out by a special warfare group of its armed wing PLA.

A press release issued by the publicity chief Bangkim said that the PLA's armed campaign is not invasion on any foreign land.

It is a war of liberation and restoring the lost sovereignty of Manipur.

Government of India should be held responsible for casualties suffered by military personnel and their agents in Manipur, it said.

On behalf of the PLA's war office, Bangkim conveyed gratitude to all the PLA cadres who carried out the attack.
