Imphal, August 26 2015: Sougaijam Leirak Women Welfare Association today extended monetary assistance of Rs 7000 for affected people of Moreh incident of August 18 .

Meitei Council, Moreh general secretary N Inaocha said material and monetary assistance for the clash victims continue to pour in from different parts of the State.

Association of Fijian Indian, Manipur Chapter has also donated a sum of Rs 30,000 for the clash victims.

Meitei Council, Moreh has appealed to the State Government to ensure similar incident do not occur in the future.
