Nigerians rob State woman in Delhi

Imphal, July 25 2014 : A 30-year-old Manipuri woman has alleged that two of her husband's friends, both of African origin, took away cash and valuables from her house in south Delhi.

The incident was reported on Thursday mor- ning.

The cops have registered an FIR under sections of robbery.

In her complaint, the woman, Yur- thingla, said she is married to one Chukwu Di, who is from Nigeria.

They live in the Neb Sarai area of south Delhi.

The incident took place around 5am when her husband, she says, was not at home.

"Two men, Balary and Ambose, from Nigeria, who are my husband's friends, came to my house and asked for food.

When I refused and said the food was over, they took away Rs 10,000, three mobile phones and a bottle of champagne from the house.

They also took out a knife and threatened to stab me," the woman said.
