Imphal, June 25 2016 : Tamenglong Battalion of Senapati Brigade under the ae- gis of Red Shield Division conducted a medical camp at Lenglong village under Nungba subdivision of Tamenglong district on June 23.Being a very remote place with no medical facility avail- able nearby, it was a well needed requirement of the locals, as they have to travel to, either Tamenglong or Imphal for ba- sic medical treatment.

Chief Medical Officer, Regimental Medical Officer and a team of para medical staff provided treatment to the local villagers of Lenglong and adjoining areas and also advised them on vari- ous health and hygiene issues, said a PIB (DW) statement.
