Imphal, June 25 2013: As of now the Government has not sanctioned any fund for construction of SDO office at Champhai located under Kangpokpi AC, Works Minister Dr Kh Ratankumar stated in the State Assembly today.

MLA Nemcha Kipgen while asserting that the SDO office is crucial for local administration, enquired as to when the office construction work will begin.

M Okendro, responding to a question from Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykishan, informed that the Saakshar Bharat Mission 2012 is being implemented in Chandel, district, Senapati district, Tamenglong district and Thoubal district.
