Imphal, January 24 2018: Free Echo screening camp was held today at District Hospital Thoubal.

The programme was organised by Manipur Heart Foundation and Sky Hospital Imphal under the National Programme for Prevention and control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke (NPCDCS) and Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakaram (RBSK) .

Altogether 85 children were examined during the camp.

Free Echo services were provided to 24 children and ECG to 30 child.

13 children were advised for cardiovascular related operation.

Staffs of NCD Clinic, District Hospital Thoubal and NCD Cell, District Health Society, Thoubal took active part at the camp.

Similar free ECHO screening camp will be held at District HOSPITAL Churachandpur and Senapati on January 30 and February 3 respectively.
