CADA seizes liquor

Imphal, October 23 2019: Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) during a drive conducted yesterday seized huge quantity of illicit liquors including 8 bottle Old Monk Bottles, 26 Quarter, 4 half bottles, 18 can Tuborg beer, 7 full bottles Tuborg beer, 15 litres of Distilled Indigenous liquor, 7 bottles OC blue, 10 Quarter OC blue, 5 bottles Mc Dowell's, 7 Quarter Mc Dowell's from 4 shops of Langjing Achouba CRPF main gate opposite, Imphal West District, yesterday.

The owners of the 4 shops were identified as Potshangbam Premila (45 yrs) W/o P Joykumar, Yumnam Basanta (27yrs) S/o Y Robindro, Naoroibam Joypatra (37yrs) S/o N Sharat and Thongam Sarat (47yrs) S/o Th Shamu.

The seized liquors were disposed in front of the public.
