Imphal, July 23 2011: Reacting to the police claim, as reported in media on July 22 that Thoubal police commandos arrested one UNLF sympathiser namely Heisnam Brojen s/o H Babu of Khordak Mayai Leikai during a search operation in Arong Khunou area, the proscribed UNLF has denied any connection whatsoever between the party and the particular individual.

A press release issued by the outfit's senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba asserted that the police claim was a fabricated one.
