Imphal, October 22 2020: The Manipur Human Rights Commission has registered a case regarding the ND&PS (Manipur Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 today.

Based on a petition, Human Rights Alert filed alleging human rights violation by the Ordinance, the MHRC registered the case and directed respondents, Secretary (Law), Government of Manipur and Special Secretary (Home), Government of Manipur to produce a copy of the Ordinance before the Commission on November 11 and submit detail report.
