Imphal, October 22 2012: Chairman of Goinanglong/Oinamlong VA, KG Khalangam clarified that he is the chief of the village and KG Gaichungrei as the secretary of the VA.

KG Khalangam, in a statement, clarified that there is no person by the name of G Kalanching, who is holding the post secretary of Oinamlong VA as stated in this paper dated October 13 .

Regarding the allegation made against K Pousing, Convenor of ZB Jiri Zone, the chief clarified that K Pousing has no connection whatever with the process of compensation to be paid by the Power Grid Corporation of India and the Government of Manipur for acquisition of land of Goinanglong/Oinamlong village.
