Imphal, June 22 2016: Dr K Sobita Devi, Retd Director of Arts and Culture, Govt of Manipur has been appointed Chairperson of the Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) .

Dr K Sobita Devi of Keishampat Leimajam Leikai had served in various capacities under the Government of Manipur.

She is the first lady MD of MFDC, secretary of Manipur State Kala Akademi and Director Arts and Culture, Government of Manipur, conveyed a press release issued by the OA, Manipur State Commission for Women.
