Imphal, November 20 2021: The Special Judge, POCSO Imphal West has remanded one 27 years old man who is accused of sexually assaul-ting a minor on November 13 and 14 to six days police custody.

Accused Ningthoujam Tondonba s/o Lokhon of Awang Wabagai Maning Leikai was arrested by a team of Sekmai police based on a complaint lodged by the victim's aunt.

According to the complainant, the victim was raped by the accused two to three times on November 13 and 14 in one rented house.

The accused was produced before the Court with a prayer of six days police custody by a team of Sekmai police station.

The IO of the case submitted through the APP that the accused admitted the charge levelled against him.

Subsequently, the Court remanded the accused to police custody till November 25 .
