Imphal, April 19 2017: Ahead of the scheduled review of the work progress of Imphal-Jiribam highway by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 26, Chief Minister N Biren would personally inspect the existing condition of the same highway and also Makru bridge.

N Biren would travel to Jiribam by road on April 22 to make a direct assessment of the highway's existing condition, informed a source.

The Chief Minister would be accompanied by Works Minister Th Biswajit, the DGP, the Works Commissioner, the PWD Chief Engineer and engineers/officials of National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) .
