Imphal, July 18 2014 : The Senapati District Transport Operators Co-operative Society Ltd SDTOCS demanded the Authority concerned to grant a full fledged District Transport Officer Senapati, according to statement issued by N Siipu Lawrence, General Secretary.

He stated that while the sub-division of kangpokpi has a full fledged District Transport Officer, Senapati which is a District Headquarter has been denied of the same.

He added that it is a humiliation and deprivation to the public of Senapati Headquarter.

The statement further demanded that the District Headquarter be allotted with a separate head account and registration code for the District Headquarter.
