Imphal, June 18 2024: A combined team of Bishnupur commandos and 5 Sikh Regiment seized a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives from Khujairok area which is located in the adjacent areas between Bishnupur and Churachandpur, today.

The seized items include one SLR with one magazine; one bolt action rifle; one 9 mm empty magazine; five hand grenades (HE no 36); one Chinese hand grenade; 13 HD cartridges; four grenade arming rings; five tube launchers; two mortar shells and one RPG shell.

The seized items have been handed over to Loktak police station.
