Imphal, August 17 2021: The Hill Areas Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly has unanimously resolved to adopt the "The Manipur (Hill Areas) Autonomous District Bill, 2021" .

According to the Chairman of the Hill Areas Committee, the committee not only resolved to adopt the said Bill in a meeting held yesterday but also decided that the recommendations of the Bill be tabled in the upcoming session of Manipur Legislative Assembly beginning from August 20 and be passed as an Act.
