Imphal, October 16 2015 : Children camp cum sports meet 2015 of Model English School, Sanakeithel (Sinakeithei) concluded today at the school's premises.

SKO dealer Jiten Koijam and adviser of Sagolmang Area Naga Students' Association, Ukhrul district, Yangkahao Chamroy attended the valedictory programme as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

Church leaders, chief, students, parents/guradians and villagers of Sinakeithel and neighbouring villages attended the closing function of the meet which was started on Oct 13 .

Speaking at the occasion, V Khamrang, principal of the school said the event has been organised annually to cultivate competitive spirit in the minds of the students.

The event has also been organised to promote communal harmony, peace and unity among the different communities of the area, he said.

Despite infrastruture deficit, the school maintains a clean record of achieving cent percent success in HSLC exams for six consecutive years, Khamrang said.
