CCpur, December 14 2020: 34 Assam Rifles carried out a Covid awareness drive at Lungchuang village in Churachandpur district, today.

The programme encompassed lectures to spread awareness about the safety protocols and dos and don'ts of the Covid pandemic.

Masks and gloves were distributed to poor families and ways to develop homemade masks and simple hygiene techniques to stop Covid spread were also explained in the local dialect.

The drive was conducted following Covid safety protocols.
