Bishnupur, September 13 2019: In a sad incident, a fisherman was reportedly drown in Manipur river at Wangoo Sandangkhong under Kumbi Police Station in Bishnupur district today.

The man has been identified as Sorokhaibam Sanjoy (40) of Chairel Mangjing, Kumbi AC.

According to some eye witnesses, the incident occurred when he went down the river to clean himself at around 12 noon after he finished his fishing job.

A team of Kumbi Police are currently searching the area till the filing of this report.
