Imphal, July 13 2016: Acting on a reliable information about the presence of one active member of the unlawful organisation UNLF at the residence of Keibi Kumuda Awang Leikai, a team of lmphal East district police commando rushed to the said area and conducted a search operation and arrested one S/S Corporal of UNLF organisation, identified as Takhellambam Priyo Meitei alias Nongdrenkhomba (21) s/o T Toto Meitei of Keibi Kumuda Awang Leikai from his residence yesterday at around 7 am.

Incriminating articles were seized from his possession.

A case has been registered at Sagolmang PS and investigation is going on, in-formed a statement issued by the PRO of Police Dept.
