Chandel, November 12 2015: Chandel Naga people's Organisation (CNPO) has appealed the DLOs and BLOs of the District to keep their words on regularly attending offices in the District.

In a statement, CNPO said that DLOs and BLOs along with government officials held a meeting on October 26 and agreed to keep the Government offices in the District functional through regular attendance.

CNPO and the public have been expecting for good result based on the assurance and resolution adopted in the meeting.

However, it was found that many government employees have started not following the agreement, CNPO alleged.

The organisation warned that it would now leave "no stone unturned" in dealing habitual absentees.
