Strongly condemning the ongoing indefinite shutdown imposed by the Kuki-Zo Council, the Naga People's Organisation (NPO) has urged the Government to lift the shutdown within 24 hours.
In a statement, NPO stated that the total shutdown has caused immense hardships to the public, affecting their daily lives, livelihood and access to essential services.
NPO has urged the Government to take immediate action to restore normalcy and ensure free flow of essential services to the State capital and cautioned that failure to comply within 24 hours may result in further action, including legal recourse.
