Imphal, September 11 2019: Khongjom War Memorial Trust will observe its 26th year Khongjom Tarpan Langban Heisoi 2019 at Khongjom War Memorial Complex on Sunday, 15th September.

A statement by President, KWMT, M.Hemanta said that remembering the freedom fighters and martyrs who laid down their lives to safeguard our land from the British, the tarpan will be held.

He added that on this day a floral tribute will be paid to the martyrs.

He further said that as the Month of September is known to be Langban and Tarpan which means offering fruits to the departed soul which they are not with us.

He requested all the people and VIPs of the State to attend the programme.
