Imphal, September 10 2014: Bishnupur District Police have announced compensation of Rs 50,000 to the family of KS Thotyo killed in yesterday's ambush at Ukhrul.

Bishnupur District Police has also announced monetary aid of Rs 10,000 and Rs 5000 to the injured victims Amuthoi and Kapminlian respectively.

Meanwhile, Thoubal District Police have assured all possible assistance to the two injured victims until they are fully recovered.

Imphal West District Police have also announced Rs 2 lakh compensation for KS Thotyo, Rs 50,000 for Amuthoi and Rs 10,000 for Kapminlian.

Imphal East District Police too have assured Rs one lakh compensation for KS Thotyo and Rs 50,000 each for Amuthoi and Kapminlian.

The compensation amounts and monetary assistances were contributed by police personnel starting from Constables to senior officers.
