Imphal, November 08 2012: The Manipur Hindi Parishad, Imphal has organised a Hindi literary meet at its premises located at Assembly Road today.

The occasion was graced by Dr VP Nidhariya, Deputy Director (Language), Central Hindi Directorate (NE) Regional Office, Guwahati as the chief guest while A Binodchandra Sharma, President, Manipur Hindi Parishad presided the function.

Prof Bimal, retired Professor of Vardhaman University, Hindi Department, Kolkata delivered a lecture on Problems and Prospects of Contemporary Hindi Criticism.

Various scholars, students and teachers of Hindi Literature attended the programme.
