Imphal, February 08 2021: Troops of Assam Rifles conducted awareness lecture for on various ongoing Government Welfare Schemes and benefits at Churachandpur, Bishnupur and Pherzawl district of Manipur on yesterday.

The lecture was conducted with the aim to educate the local populace and generate awareness about various benefits and ongoing scheme launched by the State and the Central Government.

157 villagers including the Village Headmen, Youth Club Members and Meira Paibies attended the event.

The event culminated with light refreshments for all the attendees.
