Imphal, November 06 2012: The Ching-Tam United Women's Association, celebrating its seventh foundation day, has donated clothes and stationery items to Yaibilen Children Home, Dewlahland Children Home and Tera Children Home.

One set of track suits was also given to each of the 15 children staying at Yaibilen Children Home, Keibi Sanapat.

Notably, Yaibilen Children is being run with monthly subscription of donors without any assistance from the Government and its average monthly expenditure is Rs 40,000 .

Yaibilen Children Home president Yangoi Pibarel conveyed gratitude to CHITUWA for donating track suits for winter season has set in and warm clothes have become a basic necessity.

All the children who have been staying in Yaibilen Children have lost both parents and the home was set up to look after and groom some of these unfortunate children.

The children home is being run with monthly subscription made by 25 donors.
