Imphal, October 04 2015: Based on a specific intelligence input regarding movement of a UG cadre, troops of 45 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) established a vehicle check post at Pangei and apprehended one NRFM cadre yesterday.

The apprehendee has been identified as Santa Yumlembam (28) s/o (L) Yaima of Singjamei Bheigyapati Leikai.

The apprehendee revealed that he had been providing administrative support to NRFM chief and had also received order from NRFM chief to collect money from various businessmen, contractors and Government Departments, said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S) .

The apprehendee has been handed over to Heingang police station.
