Imphal, October 03 2024: Two workers engaged in household sewerage connection were killed after they fell into the sewer near Suba Hospital, RIMS Road at around 10 pm on October 2 .

On receiving information about the fall of the two workers into the sewer, a team of Manipur Fire Service led by the Director rushed to the spot and rescued the two workers.

Even as they were rushed to RIMS, they were declared dead.

The two deceased have been identified as Nahakpam Aboi (36) s/o N Khomei of Salam Patsoi and Thangjam Inaoba Singh (36) s/o Th Shilungba of Heibongpokpi, Lamsang, according to a press release issued by Manipur Fire Service Control Room.
