Imphal, January 03 2018: In yet another immediate assistance extended to locals in emergency situation, 17 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector Assam Rifles provided critical medical aid to two locals when their vehicles moving from Ukhrul to Imphal lost control and met with an accident.

The accident took place near Vill Lambi at 1400hrs on 03 Jan 2018.The injured individuals were rescued by locals and were brought to the unit hospital at Shangshak where they were given necessary first aid by the Regimental Medical Officer.

The locals belonging to Ukhrul district were later evacuated to Imphal for further treatment.
