KNF (MC) leader escapes unhurt in shootout

Imphal, August 02 2024: In a late evening shoot out at about 8, unidentified gunmen coming in a Maruti Gypsy opened fire at a team of KNF (MC) cadres including its commander German alias Thangzalam Haokip while they were at Molnom Endurance Library, Churachandpur.

German managed to escape unhurt but a cadre of the KNF (MC) identified as Stonic of Tuibong (28) sustained a bullet injury, said a source while speaking to The Sangai Express.

The injured cadre has been evacuated to Churachandpur District Hospital.
