Imphal, April 02 2018: Huyen Lalong Manipur Thang-ta Cultural Association showcase theirproductions on Thang-Ta at the premises of the association at Irilbung, yesterday.

Padmashree Wareppa Naba and founder of DSAC Irilbung Principal Professor H Amujao Sharma attended the event as chief guest andpresidentrespectively.

Young and budding artists of the association performed 'Shajel Kanglon', 'Ta-Khousarol', 'Thang Leiteng' and 'Thang Ahum Yannaba' before the audience during the event.

Speaking at the event, Wareppa Naba emphasised the need to preserve the Thang-Ta art form.

Lauding the young artists for their performances, he expressed the need to teach the art form to the younger generations.
