Imphal, March 02 2016: The Centre has reportedly asked the State to get ready to introduce direct benefit transfer scheme, as done in LPG distribution, for distribution of kerosene to the public.

Subsequent to the intimation to the State Govt, respective DCs have been instructed by the State Govt to take up necessary measures in this connection, according to an official source.
