Imphal, October 31 2015 : A peace and welfare meet with Pradhan and Councillors was held at Mayang Imphal Post of 12th Battalion of Bihar Regiment of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (South) yesterday.

In the meeting organised by Army, village headmen, society leaders, youth club leaders, prominent personalities of the society and ex-servicemen of adjoining villages of Mayang Imphal participated, said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S) .

The Army provided a platform to the locals to discuss the security perspective of the area and come up with the synergy between the security forces and the local populace.
