Imphal, August 31 2011: The Longchai Village Authority has flayed the contractors of State PWD engaged in construction works of Kaiphundai-Tousem Road for taking their task for granted, reports our Jiribam correspondent.

The Village Authority has rued that apart from deplorable condition, the said road is hardly visible as the thick shrubs have literally spread onto it, thereby endangering the safety of the vehicles and commuters.

The Village Authority has urged the State Government and its Department concerned for doing the needful in this regard.
