Patna backs Irom Sharmila

Imphal, June 30 2011: Patna has taken up the cause of Irom Chanu Sharmila in her demand to repeal Armed Forces Special Powers Act, 1958 .

According to a statement issued by co-ordinator of Just Peace Foundation Jyotilal Longjam, a solidarity candle light march is to be taken out in support of Sharmila's cause at Kargil Chowk, Patna on July 1 .

The candle light solidarity march is being organised by a newly formed group, Le Mashele.
