Imphal, January 31 2016: Under the aegis of AMSU headquarters, AMSU Imphal West district committee organised a State level essay competition at Johnstone Higher Secondary School today.

170 students reading in Class V to VIII took part in the competition in Category-I and 200 students of Class-IX to XII in Category-II.

Cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 4000 will be awarded to first, second and third position holders respectively.

The results of the competition will be announced in local dailies on February 14 .
