Imphal, December 30 2015 : Justice Mutum Binoykumar Commission, which is currently probing the death of Sapam Robinhood, today recorded the statement of Bishnupur district police commando OC P John.

The police commando Inspector was the OC of Imphal East Reserved Line when the incident happened.

It may be mentioned that Sapam Robinhood, a student of Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy, died in police firing during a pro-ILPS movement at Minuthong area on July 8 this year.

Today's sitting of the commission was held at the State guest house.

The police officer was cross examined by the counsels of the victim and commission.

Later, the commission fixed January 2 as the next date of sitting.

John is the 7th police witness to appear before the commission.

It may be mentioned that 15 police personnel have submitted their affidavits to the commission.

Imphal East Additional SP (Law and Order) P Manjit and DSP Deban had already appeared before the commission.
