Jbm/Tpl, August 28 2022: All Manipur Students Union (AMSU), Tengnoupal District Committee today celebrated the 57th Foundation Day of AMSU on the theme, "Learn for emancipation" at Eastern Shine School in Moreh ward No 7 .

It was attended by Thokchom Suresh, advisor & former president AMSU H/Q; Ningthoujam Tomba, president AMSU Tengnoupal District Committee; M Thoiba Meetei, president MCM; Nasir, general secretary MMCM; K B S Maniam, general secretary Tamil Sangam; Th Budha, president ACODOM; and Th Ibemhal, president Kha Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup Moreh as presidium members.

57th AMSU Foundation Day observed

Speaking on the occasion, Th Suresh recalled the history of AMSU and stated that the student organisation is not just for any particular community, but for all the communities residing in the State.

Stating that AMSU will continue to work for the betterment of the student community, Th Suresh urged all to provide their cooperation and support in resolving issues that besiege the State from time to time for a better Manipur.

Later, prizes were distributed to winners of the drawing, essay, extempore speech and quiz competitions conducted as part of the event.

JIRIBAM
AMSU District Committee Jiribam also celebrated the 57th Foundation Day of AMSU at its conference hall in Jiribam today.

H Priyanda Singh, ex-president AMSU D/C; Thanil Thokchom, president AMSU District Committee Jiribam; and A Ashangbi Devi, president JIMPAL attended the event as presidium members.

The celebration began with the hoisting of flag by Thanil Thokchom.

Media persons of Jiribam district were also felicitated at the event.
