Ukhrul, October 27 2019: The 6th District Level Mathematics Competition organized by Longyo Education Trust, Ukhrul was conducted successful at Ukhrul Hr Sec School, Wino Bazar, Ukhrul today.

The Mathematics competition was held in six different categories from classes V-X.Convener H Chiphang expressed that Mathematics competition is held every year in order to instil the spirit of competitive examination from high school onward.

Soyuila Luiram, a Class X student from Sacred Hr Sec School scored the highest mark of 94.5 among all competitors.

Girls outperformed better than boys in the competition.

The result was declared later at around 4 pm.

Ukhrul ADC vice-Chairman M Isaac and Ningshim Shaiza AI, ZEO in charge attended the function as the special guests and distributed prizes to all the position holders of the competition.

As a part of encouragement in order to develop interest in Mathematics, the top 10 winners of the Mathematics competition were given consolation prizes.

Altogether, 643 students from 27 schools of Ukhrul district participated in the Sixth district level Mathematics competition.
