Imphal, March 24 2017: The annual meet of Zeliangrong Union, Imphal Zone was held at the residence of the Union's vice chairman, Pou Achung at Namching village, Keithelmanbi today.

A press release issued by the secretary of Zeliangrong Union, Imphal Zone, Thaimeichung, stated that Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) acting president Pou Namdon, Chairman Pou Gaikhem and vice chairman Pou Gaimeibung took part in the event.

A two minute silence was observed in honour of ex chairman (L) Pou Daipong and ex vice president (L) Pou Abuiba at the meeting and the members agreed to elect the union leaders and representatives for 2017 at the earliest and to further continue sending out mobile teams to different villages.
