Imphal, June 23 2014: Hepatitis C screening cum awareness camp was held today at Imphal East District Police, Porompat under the aegis of Abbott India Ltd Mumbai and Imphal East District Police.

Similar screening programmes have been already held at Lamlai PS, Sagolmang PS, Heingang PS, Andro PS and Irilbung PS since June 16 .

So far 350 police personnel have been screened for Hepatitis C .

Out of them, only one was found positive.

The screening cum awareness programmes were organised by the Imphal East SP, Commando Imphal East.

Reserve Line and Abbott India Ltd Mumbai with the support of BD India Ltd.
