AMWJU conducts free medical camp

Imphal, July 21 2024: In connection with its golden jubilee celebration, the All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) conducted a free medical camp at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul today.

According to a statement issued by Priyo Achom, secretary, AMWJU, the camp was jointly organised by Sangai Trust Foundation, Leima Chanu Nawa Tengbang Lup, Indian Dental Association Manipur State Branch, Ibotombi Eye Care, Canchipur and AMWJU.

Altogether 164 people received medical consultations during the free health camp.

Free blood sugar tests and lipid profile tests were provided to the patients.

Consultations in the field of general medicine, dental and ophthalmic issues were given at the camp.

While medicines were provided free of cost, spectacles were made available at a discounted rate.
