Chairman of the NSCN, SS Khaplang has expelled general Khole Konyak from the outfit on grounds of anti-party activities including joining hands with Kitovi Zhimomi, said a statement issued by the spokesperson of the outfit today.
Khole's place as the commander-in-chief, Naga army, of the outfit, has been taken over by general Kumchok, said the statement adding that the expulsion order is with immediate effect.
The new commander-in-chief of Naga army joined the Naga army in 1965 and he has served in different capacities, said the statement and added that he will be assisted by the senior commander of Naga army, brig Nyemlang Konyak as GSO-I and brig Ponglem as GSO-II .
On the other hand the NSCN/GPRN has issued expulsion order of Wangtin Naga, kilonser; Tongmeth, tatar & secretary Konyak Region and Lt Col Panwang Konyak, on alleged charge of wilful disobedience of the National Yehzabo and indulging in anti-party & anti-National activities.
The office of the Ato Kilonser, GPRN has issued revocation order of Meren Nokpu, kilonser and MA Felix Zeliang, deputy kilonser.
In consonance with the expulsion order of the chairman, the office of the Ato kilonser has ordered the discharge of Wantin Naga,kilonser of public relations and NGOs, GPRN and Tongmeth Konyak, tatar, assigned as secretary Konyak region, from active National service with effect from June 21, 2011.The Ato kilonser has directed Meren Nokpu and MA Felix Zeliang to submit their joining reports to the office of Ato kilonser on receipt of the revocation orders.
