Stay away from Congress, BJP is forming Govt : Prahlad Patel

Imphal, February 21 2017: During all these 15 years, Congress-led State Government has done nothing significant.

Therefore, stay away from the Congress party as BJP is going to form the next Government.

This was stated by BJP Manipur in-charge Prahlad Singh Patel during the flag hoisting programme BJP candidate from Wangkhei AC Y Irabot at Ahongei Leikai, Ayangpali Road.

Prahlad said, "Congress has been in power for 15 years.

However, no significant changes have taken place till now.

Had the State Government utilized the fundd sanctioned by the Centre efficiently, people would not have to go through all the hardships.

From deplorable road conditions to irregular supply of potable, Manipur is lagging behind rest of the Nation" .

He also said that people of Manipur have been reeling under frequent bandhs and economic blockade and assured that all these issues will be solved if BJP forms the Government.

He further assured to improve the education system and repair the National Highways on par with global standards.

Attacking Ibobi-led State Government, Prahlad alleged that the Congress party is busy fulfilling their personal needs instead of working for the welfare of people and the State as a whole.

He then said people should not support those representatives who do not think of the general public.

"Considering all these, people should vote for BJP candidates which include Yumkham Irabot in the ensuing State Assembly election," he urged.

The flag hoisting programme was also attended by BJP Central Imphal Election in-charge Jagadish Bhuyan, BJP Wangkhei Mandal president Nandakumar, BJP Wangkhei Mandal vice-president Md Feroz and other BJP members.
